The Wolfforth Police Department has thirteen officers, including a Chief, two Investigators, a K-9 Officer, a Code Enforcement Officer, four Patrol Officers, and four volunteer Reserve Officers. Dino, the second half of the K-9 team, is trained for drug searches and officer protection. The Wolfforth Police Department needed help funding the addition of a highly trained police dog. They wanted a dog that could be used not only be used for fighting crime, but also for school education programs that teach our children the dangers of drug abuse. They asked the community to help with donations for the necessary equipment for this project, and the community responded enthusiastically with their generous support. |
