				A K9 Matching Gift Program ran from June 1 through June 30, 2010. Thermopolis Police Department raised $4,660 which was matched by NACOP for a total grant of $9,320.
			Thermopolis is known throughout the state as one of the most desirable communities in Wyoming because of the excellent climate, beautiful surroundings, and friendly people. The town of Thermopolis was founded in 1897 and is a small northwestern Wyoming community, located in the southern most point of the Big Horn Basin. The Thermopolis Police Department is a professional agency serving the approximately 3,500 residents of Thermopolis and East Thermopolis. The department is comprised of eight professional, sworn officers and six civilian employees. The Thermopolis Police Department is a community oriented department committed to providing the best possible service to the community. Ideas and feedback are always welcome from the community in an effort to determine how best to serve the law enforcement needs of the residents.
