December 15, 2003 - Partnership is a valuable tool in any venture. Due to partners working together the Sugarcreek/NACOP K-9 Matching Gift Program was able to raise $13,686.04 during the month of November 2003 and provide K-9 support for the Sugarcreek Borough Police Department. The results of a survey presented by the Valley Grove School District showed that in certain areas drug and alcohol usage was higher than the national average. A well-trained police K-9 is one of the best tools to both detect illegal substances and to act as an ambassador for the police department. |
