| Police Officer Jose Alejandro and his K-9 Partner Argo placed first in the 2003 regional United States Police Canine Association trials and competition in Middletown, Ohio for two consecutive years. In 2005, Officer Alejandro and Argo were the fifth ranked canine team in the country. Due to a serious back injury, canine Argo had to be retired. Thanks to the generous support of the community, Loveland was able to replace canine Argo with canine Azar. It is the hope of Officer Alejandro that Azar will one day be the top-notch canine that Argo was. | |||||||||
