With incredible support from the community, the Forsyth Township Police Department together with the National Association of Chiefs of Police was able to raise more than $11,000 for their K-9 program. This effort paid off when the Forsyth Township Police Department was the lead agency in a drug bust that netted thousands of dollars in drugs, including $40,000 of cocaine. It was one of the largest drug busts in the area in several years.
